Complete a high-ropes course

A supervised high-ropes course is a series of elevated elements—platforms, suspended bridges, nets and zip trolleys—traversed while wearing a certified harness and attached to a continuous belay or instructor-controlled system. The experience focuses on moving through exposed features while instructors manage attachment, rescue and safety oversight. Sessions begin with a ground-school briefing and practice on a low element so every participant learns how to clip, lock and manage the harness and safety device. Once comfortable, you progress along multiple high elements and, where provided, a final zip or themed challenge that gives a clear finishing moment. The activity is led by trained staff who perform equipment checks, provide instruction and run the belay or continuous safety system. Expect guidance on footwear, basic behaviour rules and a safety check before ascending; follow all staff instructions and remain clipped to the safety system at all times. Completing a high-ropes course rewards focus, balance and a willingness to try exposed movement at height. It suits individuals and groups, works well as a team-building activity, and can be combined with low-ropes or other adventure sessions for a longer day programme.
