Do the Edge Walk at CN Tower, Canada

EdgeWalk takes you outside the CN Tower onto a 1.5-metre-wide ledge high above Toronto, attached to an overhead rail by a full-body harness. A guide leads a small group around the tower and may invite controlled leaning exercises. The drama comes from the open skyline and the absence of a handrail, not from being unsecured. Book through the CN Tower’s official channel and read the current terms before arranging travel. Participants must be at least 13, and those aged 13–17 need a parent or legal guardian to provide consent and proof of age. Published weight limits are more than 34kg and less than 140kg. Walkers must have adequate body control and be able to walk independently, although a specially designed wheelchair may be available by prior arrangement. Disclose pregnancy and health or medication issues covered by the operator’s restrictions. Arrive sober and early for screening, changing and the safety briefing. Remove jewellery and loose items and use the supplied suit and harness system. Weather or operational conditions can delay or cancel the walk, so keep the rest of the day flexible. Take each lean only if you understand the instruction; declining an optional pose does not invalidate the experience. Look across Lake Ontario and the city rather than spending the whole circuit performing for the camera. Completion is walking the outside ledge safely with the guide and returning through the airlock.
