Share a licensed cab with another passenger

The door closes, two separate journeys briefly become one and the city passes outside while conversation finds its own level—or does not need to begin at all. A shared cab can make an ordinary transfer feel like a small act of cooperation. Do this through a licensed taxi rank or a licensed operator offering a pooled ride, so the passenger match and journey are recorded. It does not mean accepting a lift from an unknown private driver, arranging an unlicensed street pickup or pressuring somebody to share. Verify the car and driver against the booking, tell someone your route if travelling alone and keep control of your phone and belongings. Agree the stop order and fare basis before setting off, respect the other passenger's space, and leave if the vehicle or arrangement does not match what was confirmed. Count it complete after a legitimate shared taxi journey with somebody you did not previously know. Add it if you like the idea that a practical journey can also be a brief encounter with another person's day.
