Stay at Jade Mountain in Saint Lucia

Soufrière and the twin Pitons rising beside the Caribbean Sea in Saint Lucia.

At Jade Mountain, the room ends before the view does. One entire side is open to the Caribbean air, and the twin Pitons rise across the water while an infinity pool or wide stone terrace occupies the space where a wall would normally stand. The appeal is architectural as much as luxurious. Each sanctuary is reached across its own bridge, local stone and tropical hardwood shape the interior, and the open plan deliberately removes television and conventional separation from the landscape. Choose the room category for the view and layout you want, not just the word luxury. The resort accepts guests aged 16 and over and sits on a steep hillside above Anse Chastanet. Confirm mobility needs, open-air sleeping, pool safety, transfers, meal-plan costs and the final taxes and service charges before committing. A two- or three-night stay gives the setting time to become more than an expensive first impression. Count this complete when you have stayed overnight in a Jade Mountain sanctuary and watched the Pitons change through at least one sunset or morning. The point is the unusual sensation of shelter and landscape sharing the same room, with all the comfort and exposure that design choice brings.
