Swim in an Aquarium

Swim in an Aquarium

Enter the main tank and watch the visitor side of the glass disappear behind rays, sharks and dense schools of fish. Selected large aquariums run supervised snorkelling or scuba experiences, sometimes for complete beginners and sometimes only for certified divers. This is a managed programme, never ordinary admission followed by an unscheduled swim. The operator controls group size, depth, animal distance and equipment to protect both guests and the collection. Expect a medical questionnaire, a safety briefing and strict instructions about touching or chasing animals. Minimum ages commonly begin around ten, but certification and health requirements vary by venue. Choose an accredited aquarium programme, read the cancellation and medical rules, and declare anything that could affect diving before you travel. Arrive early enough for fitting and listen to the keeper as carefully as the instructor. Add this to your list and cross the glass into a world normally viewed from the other side.
