Create a Video & Upload it to the Internet

Press publish and let something you made leave the safety of your camera roll. The first public video can be thirty seconds of a useful tip, a tiny comedy sketch or a record of a project; completion matters more than cinematic polish. Plan one clear idea, then capture only the shots needed to express it. Good sound and a readable opening often improve a simple video more than expensive equipment. Editing teaches rhythm quickly: remove pauses, choose where the viewer needs context and use music or images only when you have permission to publish them. Start with a phone, natural light and a basic editor. Check the frame for addresses, number plates, documents and people who have not consented to appear; add captions and useful alt text where the platform allows. Choose the audience and privacy setting deliberately, especially for children or a personal location. Add this to your list by publishing one finished piece, then note what you would improve in the next.
