Visit Czech Republic

Prague may be the first image, but Czechia opens outward from its bridges and spires. Trains lead to spa towns, wine country, castles, modernist architecture and landscapes where a few Czech words change the tone of an encounter. Build the trip around contrast rather than a checklist: early streets in Prague, a smaller historic town, a regional meal and time beyond the busiest centre. Beer culture is visible, but food, music, design and twentieth-century history offer many other ways into the country. Check current entry and travel advice, validate transport tickets correctly and use licensed exchange or cash machines rather than street offers. Reserve major sights where necessary, respect quiet residential areas and leave flexibility for regional weather. Count it complete after a stay that includes Prague and at least one place beyond it. Add it if you want a compact country where several layers of Central European history sit within an easy rail journey.
