Write a Love Letter

A love letter gives affection somewhere to remain after the conversation ends. The most affecting lines are rarely grand declarations; they are the remembered detail, the quality you have watched over time and the ordinary moment that explains why this person matters. Write to one real person and be specific. Begin with what prompted the letter, name what you value, include a shared memory and say what you hope to keep building without borrowing language that does not sound like you. Make the letter a gift rather than a demand for reassurance, forgiveness or a particular reply. Respect the recipient's boundaries and privacy, especially if the relationship is new, changing or no longer mutual; sincerity does not create an obligation. Count it complete when the letter says what you genuinely mean and is given or sent in a form the recipient can comfortably receive. Add it if there is something important that deserves more care than a quick message.
